Alice Marie Crain
March 28, 1926 — May 24, 2017
Alice Marie Crain, 91, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday, May 24,
2017 at Meadows Manor North. She was born to Myron Andrew French and
Agnes Radcliffe French in Tipton, IN on March 28, 1926. She was preceded
in death by her loving husband, Lawrence R. Crain who passed away in
2011.
Alice was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Williford, AR. She loved
to sew for herself, family and many friends.
Alice is survived by one son, Roger Bruns of Terre Haute and one step-son, Robert Crain of Danville, IL; three daughters, Linda Thompson of Frederick, CO, Deanne Bruns of Tampa, FL and Peggy Bruns of Garland, TX; three step-daughters, Rose Johnson, Ruth Lockhart and Idella Kell; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Alice was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Gary and Charles Bruns; and a step-son, Larry Crain.
Funeral services will be conducted on 1:00 P.M. Saturday May 27, 2017 at
Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street with Reverend Bill
Herb officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery, Williford, Arkansas. Visitation is scheduled two hours prior to services on Saturday.
