Agnes Lorraine Moles

Agnes Lorraine Moles, 96, of Terre Haute passed away Friday, September 6, 2024, in her residence.  She was born November 28, 1927, in Seelyville to Robert Wayne Smith and Mary Ellis Smith and married Wilfred Moles on January 16, 1949.

Survivors include her children, James Moles (Cheryl) and Barbara Goltry; grandchildren, Jeffrey Moles, Brian Moles (Mary-Owen Holmes), and Sarah Hofer (Adam); great grandchildren, Maggie Hofer, Annie Hofer, and McKay Moles; sister-in-law, Patricia Smith; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilfred Moles; brother, James Smith; and sister, Betty Wey.

Agnes was a member of Central Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed family and was like a second mother for her many nieces and nephews. Agnes was the glue that held the extended family together.

The family offers a special thank you to our Gentiva Hospice family, especially Jackie, Rhoni, Ginger, Kelley, and Cherie.

Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 11, 2024, with Reverend Mike Riggins officiating.  Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
